LASER AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

Laser Tattoo Removal & Laser Brow Removal Aftercare

Avoid the sun for 7-10 days
For brow removal - no makeup in the area for 48 hours.
Redness and swelling of the area is normal.
DO NOT apply any ointment to the area for 7 days (risk of locking in the heat and a blister can occur if ointment is applied)
After 3 days, use sunscreen to protect skin when out in the sun for longer than 10 minutes
Itchiness is normal as the area heals.
After 7 days, you can moisturize the skin with your choice of the following: Vitamin E oil, Cera-Ve healing ointment, or Aquaphor.

FOR 5 DAYS AFTER TREATMENT:
- Avoid heavy sweating and tanning beds
- Avoid sauna, steam room, pools and hot tubs
- Avoid direct sun exposure of the area
- Apply sunscreen to any body area if it will be exposed to the sun
- Avoid active topical products: retinols, acids, cleansers, or serums with active ingredients. AVOID healing or occlusive balms/ointments (Vaseline, Aquaphor, etc.)
- Aloe Vera gel can be used to soothe the skin

After 5 days/Between Sessions
- Gently exfoliate the area with a body scrub or exfoliating mit to prevent ingrown hairs
- Avoid waxing or sugaring

How often will I need treatments?
Sessions are typically spaced 4-6 weeks apart, depending on the treatment area and your hair growth cycle. Your provider will customize a schedule to suit your needs.

Will my hair be permanently gone?
Laser hair removal provides long-term reduction; many clients experience up to 90% permanent reduction in treated areas.
